CD/DVD drive device driver is missing error during Windows 7 installation
No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok.
When we start to install windows 7 Dell Brand or Acer Laptop or pc, we get this message, all it gives are only OK, Cancel and Browse options we tried browsing everywhere in our laptop or pc but it didn't solve that.
Message Details:
A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now.
Important Note:
If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step. Browse-OK-Cancel.
Instructions:
We are tried to install via the USB 3.0 port. Both external dvd and usb/iso failed. Inserting the USB stick into the USB 2.0 port, and installed flawlessly.

In most cases, this issue can be caused due to the Windows 7 installation media is corrupted. You can try using another DVD or downloading there. ISO file again to check the results.
